First, I started off taking a piece of paper and folding it into a tri-fold brochure to get a tangible, visual look of the layout. This helped a lot to see how well everything works together. I knew that I wanted an image that ran across the whole layout and since the festival takes place in Toronto, using the Toronto skyline just made sense and really brought it altogether. I took a look at other music festival brochures to get an idea of how they organized the information.
The images used in the brochure were all taken by me. I had the amazing opportunity to cover the music festival back in 2019 and it was cool to be able to utilize the images I took in this fictional brochure.
After deciding on a colour scheme and looking at countless fonts, this is the final product!
